June 22nd was a hard day.
We've lost one of our own. After a rapid onset of illness with fast progression, we laid our sweet Bailey to rest.
Bailey served our participants with the patient kindness that we love so much about our equine family. She took great care of those who needed more time to gain confidence, and challenged those who were ready. We're going to miss her gentle, quiet nature.
Please keep our riders and staff in your thoughts. Right now, our barn family is grieving.
Party with our ponies!
Yes! You read that right. We now offer pony parties… which is basically the best excuse ever to invite a miniature horse to your celebration and call it “planning ahead.”
Our pony parties are designed to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of happiness to birthdays, events, and special occasions. And while the cuteness is very real, so is the purpose behind it: all pony party bookings directly support our programs at Sunrise, Inc. Therapeutic Riding Center helping fund adaptive riding lessons, equine-assisted services, and scholarships for the individuals we serve. So yes, you’re basically funding life-changing work… with snacks and pony selfies.

Sunrise, Inc. Therapeutic Riding Center has 30+ acres of prime farmland available for lease!
All income generated from this lease goes directly toward supporting Sunrise, Inc.'s 501(c)(3) mission, providing equine-assisted services for children and adults with disabilities throughout the Wayne County area.
